About the Event:
Hashi Mohamed, renowned speaker, barrister, and author of "People Like Us", will share his powerful journey and insights on identity, social change, housing and planning. In a dynamic interview with Priya Aggarwal-Shah, they will explore thought-provoking themes of diversity, integration, and the role we all play in building a more inclusive society.
Interactive Q&A: Engage with Hashi and Priya during the Q&A session and contribute to the discussion.

Charity Support: As part of this event, we will be supporting Da'aro Youth Charity, a community-led organisation supporting young refugees and asylum seekers from the Horn of Africa. This charity has personally been chosen by Hashi, given his own experience as a refugee from Kenya. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go towards supporting their important work.
Networking: An opportunity to continue the conversation with industry connections over refreshments.

This is a ticketed event, with a minimum payment of £5, which will go towards the Da'aro Youth Charity.
You are welcome to purchase Hashi’s book, ‘People Like Us’ too, for an additional £7 and you will have the opportunity to get this signed by Hashi on the evening. Books purchased on the evening will cost £10.
Your name will be shared with Montagu Evans for security purposes. No ticket, no admission.
There will be photography and videography (short reels and vox pops) taking place during the evening. If you wish not to be included in these, please let Priya Aggarwal-Shah (priya@preachinclusion.com) know.
The interview itself will not be filmed in full, and we kindly request our audience members do not either.
There will be no refunds for this event, 100% of the money will be donated to the charity. Given this is likely to be a popular event, please only register if you are sure you can attend.
